AA Provincials

Congratulations Jacob!

Jacob did an amazing job at AA Provincials in Chilliwack. Jacob competed in four events – 200IM, 50Fr, 100Fr, and 100Fl. Going into 100Fl heats in the morning, Jacob was ranked eighth.  He came out of the preliminaries determined to do better.  In finals that night, Jacob left it all in the pool and came up to places to finish 6th overall.

Lower Mainland Region Championships

This was a great meet for the seven swimmers who attended the Championship meet in Richmond.  Zach Currie took home gold in the 100Fly as well as getting “A” times in all of his events.  Kieran Higgins took sixth in 50Back, Zach Durnin took 9th in 100Fly, Robbie Duke took 18th in 200Fr, Robyn Minton took 6th in 200Br, Macy Kercher took 8th in 100Fr, and Corinne Haasen took 15th in 200Br.

LMR Championship meet

LMR Championship meet

This is a call out to all of the swimmers who have their LMR time, but who do not have enough qualified swims to go to AA’s.  The meet is in Richmond on the same weekend as AA’s (Feb 18 & 19).

Let Brandi know by Feb. 6 if you are interested in going.
